Abstract

Objectives: The present study was aimed at cloning and expression of fimbrial subunit gene (fimA) of D. nodosus (serogroup B and E from J&K, India) in E. coli. Then the purification of the expressed fusion proteins was attempted. Results: Sequence analysis of the cloned fimA genes, revealed that the serogroup B fimA gene had maximum homology with strains JKS-01B and serogroup E fimA gene
