Gingival Recession – An Overview

Gingival recession is characterized by the displacement of the gingival margin apically from the cementoenamel junction. Gingival recession can be generalized or localized and be associated with one or more surfaces. Gingival recessions have multifactorial etiology and are often associated with non-caries cervical lesions.
