Abstract: The lungs of 17 fetuses from 29–32 weeks of gestation (late fetal period) were studied. For the first time, the formation of additional muscle structures in the intraorgan branches of the pulmonary arteries under conditions of a non-functioning small circle of blood circulation has been established.
